Job description

Who is the Logistics and Procurement Associate at Sistema.bio?

Reporting to the Production and Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics and transportation for our units across India. You will also assist in coordinating all procurement activities centrally.

You’ll be in charge of:

  •  Coordinating with the global and local teams for product shipment, logistics and warehousing.
  •  Coordinating with Technical operations and sales team for supply and deliveries.
  •  Preparing route plans for delivery of the products.
  •  Creating network of local transporters by understanding type and availability of the vehicles.
  •  Maintaining and updating list of suppliers and their standard, delivery times and potential future development.
  •  Handling invoices, customer contracts and product documentation.
  •  Managing field data including product installation and material expense data.
  •  Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will have to communicate effectively and manage all queries.
  •  Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
  •  Review and analyze all vendor/suppliers, their quality standard, delivery times and price options to negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  •  Developing plans for purchasing raw material, components, equipment’s, services and supplies within the established cost parameters and budgets.
  •  Monitoring and Management of inventory and inventory movements across all warehouses.

More about YOU:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4+ years of proven experience in logistics and procurement.
  • You are great at building relationships and possess the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  •  You are a good communicator in English and Hindi.
  •  You have a proactive mindset with attention to details with good negotiation, coordination and problem solving skills.
  •  You have an ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  •  You are willing to travel as per the requirement of the company.
  •  You are conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
