Job description

The Visual Designer for Candidate Success virtual internship will give you the opportunity to work across our Marketing, Candidate and Product teams. You will deliver relevant and captivating media assets to be used in product and marketing collateral for ongoing candidate initiatives, including our Career Success program. Over the course of 3 months, you will work closely with our Director of Strategic Initiatives and our Product Director to understand the needs and pain points of our candidates to deliver quality, relevant content for them. 

During this 3 month engagement, you will perform the following activities:

• Engage candidates to determine relatable media to accompany career content
• Work directly with the Candidate Success team to craft storytelling narratives via multimedia assets you will design
• Collaborate with the Product team to gather user feedback and iterate on designs to increase adoption of candidate content and features
• Design materials to be used for candidate marketing initiatives.

Throughout your engagement, you will acquire the following skills:

• Work cross functionally within various teams to better understand the day-to-day of working at a startup
• Interact directly with users and learn research methods to help bring their needs to life via visual storytelling
• Create compelling visual designs that will be used across Shortlist products for your portfolio
