About the role:
BURN is looking for a junior CNC Laser Engineer who will work closely with the laser team in operating and ensuring that all laser-related equipment is functioning well.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring lasers are well maintained and operational.
- Help in developing different CAD drawings for production tests and TPDs
- Help in optimizing the production laser CAD files
- Responsible for installation and commissioning of CNC machines
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
- Plan and oversee all repair and maintenance activities
- Training laser operators and technicians.
- Keep maintenance and production logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies comply with industry standards
- Building a laser team that is knowledgeable, flexible, and dependable.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Bodor and XT laser machines
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid works
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a relevant field.
- Relevant experience working as a CAD technician
- Design background
