Workpay is seeking a Associate Product Manager with experience in the fintech, HR, and/or financial services sector. You will report directly to our Product Manager. You will work closely with the rest of product development team to help the Customers and Business teams translate user requirements and market trends into designs and technical work streams. You will then collaborate with our CTO and Engineering team to set priorities and ensure successful delivery.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the product requirements, ensuring alignment with our business goals and customer needs.
- Product Roadmap: Assist in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap, outlining key milestones and timelines.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to drive the product development process, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats, helping to shape our product’s competitive edge.
- User Feedback: Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the product, enhancing its usability and value to our customers.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee product testing and quality assurance to ensure a flawless user experience.
- Launch Strategy: Contribute to the development of a successful product launch strategy, including marketing and sales support.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in either HR or product management.
- Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback.
- Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor behavior.
- Exceptional ability to identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Ability to report to the Product Manager and collaborate with the product development team.
- Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reports.
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support.
