Job description

  • Responsible for translating work order requests into processed proteins that are accurately cut, sliced, formed, and marinated.
  • Control and minimize wastages.
  • Follows the production plan that processes batches quantities of raw materials into finished product including sauces, soups, and cooked meats.
  • Can keep and demonstrate accurate records for the production.
  • Be able to use machines with minimal supervision such as Vacuum sealer, Food Processor, stick blender, mincers.
  • Understand different cooling times & environments for different products.
  • Has Knowledge of food preparation and cooking large quantities of food.
  • Understands all the meals prepared in the staff cafeteria i.e., Beef, Chicken, Veggies, Chapati, Ugali.
  • Able to follow recipes quickly and with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized.
  • Comply with outlined Food safety and Health & Safety regulations and procedures
