About the Fellowship

As part of LGT Venture Philanthropy’s and LGT Lightstone’s strategic efforts to scale positive impact, the LGT Impact Fellowship was established in 2009 to provide additional know-how and capacity to its portfolio organizations. Each year a limited number of professionals are nominated to work full-time for one year with impactful organizations supported by LGT Venture Philanthropy and LGT Lightstone in Latin America, Africa, India and Europe.

What will you do?

Fellows take on distinct roles and responsibilities that leverage their expertise and serve the needs of the partner organization. They typically provide professional capacity building service to increase the organisations’ ability to grow their operations and scale their positive impact.

As a fellow, you will support the portfolio organization in the following ways:

  • Improving, establishing or implementing systems, processes, and tools that are transferable to permanent staff
  • Implementing best-practices from the private sector
  • Training and coaching local teams
