Who is the Strategic Partnerships Associate at Sistema.bio?

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and create partnerships between Sistema.bio and like-minded organizations throughout East Africa. Reporting directly to the Managing Director East Africa, you will help grow existing partnerships and build new ones to scale our impact on smallholder farmers across the East Africa region.

You’ll be in charge of:

  • Project managing existing partnerships to deliver on our sales goals in Kenya and East Africa.
  • Providing hands-on support to our partners in the field and managing the relationships.
  • Looking out for business opportunities and proposing new strategic partnerships in Kenya and East Africa.
  • Managing the full onboarding of partners to ensure a positive, clear and efficient partnership.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, technical and logistics teams to execute partnership activities.

  • You are passionate about serving farmers and protecting the environment.
  • You have at least 3 years of proven partnership building and management experience in similar sectors.
  • You enjoy simultaneously managing projects, scales and client types in multiple countries.
  • You build great relationships and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Speaking French is a plus! (for current pilot projects and future markets).
  • You have a practical mind that is excellent at evaluating projects and their risks and at problem-solving from partners signature to project implementation.
  • You have a valid driving license and are willing to travel to rural areas.
