Who is the Chief Commercial Officer at Sistema.bio

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading all Commercial growth at a global level, from designing a commercial strategy to growing local teams in our Sistema.bio countries.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Designing a Commercial strategy at the global level for Sistema.bio, including both for our B2B and B2C lines, in collaboration with the CEO
• Building new commercial concepts and identify commercially attractive opportunities and solutions
• Building a commercial culture of data driven decisions and processes improvement
• Implementing the strategy together with both global and country level teams
• Developing a strategy to grow and scale across multiple new markets
• Collaborating with Global Marketing teams to ensure effective execution
• Manage and grow the team through coaching and identification of appropriate development opportunities
• Enhance and maintain the team’s positive work culture and commercial culture

More about YOU

• You are passionate about creating social and environmental impact through social business in rural markets
• You have 8-12 years’ proven commercial and business development experience, preferably in rural markets or the agricultural sector
• You are excellent at managing people, especially across a broad range of cultural and geographic ranges, being able to coach and empower your team
• You have worked in new technology / innovative products that require building market demand
• You are a very self-driven and a creative problem solver in a fast-moving environment, and are driven by data and developing and executing commercial strategies

Location, travel and start date

• Ideally based in Mexico City, but we are open to locations in other Sistema.bio regions
• Traveling to Sistema.bio countries (especially Kenya and India and partners countries up to 25% of your time)
• Starting date: Q1 2021
