Who is the Accounting Manager at Sistema.bio?

Reporting to the Country Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and taxation activities for the India operations for Sistema.bio. You will be responsible for general accounting activities, analysis of budgets, forecasts, business performance; and maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting activities.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting activities
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• Month and end-year process
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Cash receipts
• General ledger
• Payroll and utilities
• Treasury, budgeting
• Cash forecasting
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Capital assets reconciliations
• Fixed asset activity
• Complying with all Statutory Regulations such as GST/Income Tax etc., 
• Taking care of Payables/Receivables/Review of GL/Trial Balance/Month End Process/Internal Control Management
• Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions

More about YOU: 

• You are a Chartered Accountant with a proven working experience of 3+years as an Accounting or Finance Manager
• You have advanced computer skills on MS Office, Tally, other accounting software and databases
• You possess the ability to maintain large amounts of data
• You have proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• You have a high attention to detail and accuracy
• You have an ability to direct and supervise
• You are open minded and eager to learn
