About the role:

The primary role of the Partnerships Associate is to support the Partnerships Manager throughout the project cycles of engaging with various types of strategic partners, including NGOs, multilaterals, governments, private companies, distributors, and carbon developers, HNWIs, etc. Secondarily, the Partnership Associate will support certain grant-related activities and maintain databases related to industry awards & events. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Management                

·      Project cycle management: order processing & tracking

·      Generating invoices and tracking orders in NAV (ERP) system.

·      Liaising with Production, Supply Chain, and country teams to ensure orders are progressing to plan.

New Business Development

·      Proactively engage with new business development opportunities as coordinated with Partnerships management

·      Following up with export market leads; coordinating with country teams as required

Special Projects/Grants

·      Periodically supporting Partnerships Manager and Grants Manager in grant writing and researching efforts

·      Supporting Partnerships Manager and Grants Manager in reporting and follow-up for grant activities

Awards & Events Tracking

·      Maintaining database of cookstove and energy industry-related awards and events (conferences, expos, etc.), including identifying new opportunities

·      Identifying and distilling critical info including due dates, potential upsides, the application process, and competitor statuses


Skills and Experience

·      Minimum one year of experience working in customer-facing roles, including account management, B2B sales, and

·      Minimum one year of experience managing projects and liaising across diverse teams (sales, manufacturing, distribution, etc.)

·      Strong organizational & project management skills, including through collaborative platforms

·      Competency in MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.  

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French or other languages helpful but not essential
