Anchored in our online learning platform that houses over 65,000 practical business and leadership tools and resources, AMI has delivered learning programmes in Arabic, English, French, Kinyarwanda and Swahili and as we look to reach even more ambitious entrepreneurs and leaders in 2022, we’re looking for a Project Manager - to join us for a 6-month project based contract position - to manage our ever-expanding translation pipeline at AMI.
The Project Manager will be the go-to person for everything involving translation at AMI. As we continue to create innovative content designed to support business growth, and leadership development, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing the multiple ongoing and upcoming translation projects, including a team of fantastically-talented translation consultants and working with various stakeholders to manage project budgets and timelines.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Learning and will work within a dynamic, international content and learning team, passionate about impact and excellence!
Your core responsibilities will centre on managing multiple stakeholders to ensure that ongoing (and upcoming) translation projects are delivered on time and are of the highest standard for delivery! We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the nitty gritty detail involved in bringing projects to life, excited about building and strengthening processes to drive efficiency, and energised by liaising with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) to keep our translation projects on track!
As part of this role, you’ll work with our finance and partnerships teams to manage project budgets and timelines, work with our external translation agency to manage the pipeline, manage our team of translation consultants and support our team of content associates to ensure that all translated content is uploaded onto and available on AMI’s online learning platform.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in project management, budgeting and managing others. To thrive in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, comfortable managing multiple tasks and timelines, and committed to working collaboratively with others to drive performance and solve problems.
